UNDER 20: PARMA-MONZA 2-1

The match between Parma and Monza ended 2-1, a game valid for the 15th matchday of the championship, played at the Centro Sportivo Il Noce in Noceto.

At 4', the first stirrings of the game arrived: Cardinali rewarded Ciardi’s run, who met the ball with a header, but Strajnar was alert and with his gloves sent the shot out for a corner.

The biancorossi remained compact and, with courage, tried to make their presence felt in the attacking zone.

The home team increased the pressure and at 24' Plicco missed an important chance to take the lead, thanks to a providential intervention by Strajnar.

At 34', it was Monza that became dangerous: Gaye released the ball to Mout, who unleashed a left-footed shot, but found Astaldi well positioned in goal.

Parma went forward again, but the visiting defense remained composed and Reita was able to launch another attack. The biancorossi tried to assault in the last minutes of the first half, but the score remained level.

In the second half, at 7', Parma found the 1-0 goal with Marchesi, served in the box by Semedo, shooting first-time and beating the goalkeeper.

Monza’s reaction was not long in coming: at 10', Gaye received the ball, freed himself from the marker and shot towards the far post. The shot was angled but went just outside the frame. One minute later, Reita tried with his right foot but did not find the target.

At 23', Reita recovered the clearance from the gialloblu defense from Castelli’s cross, coordinated himself, and shot without managing to surprise Astaldi.

Parma counterattacked and at 26' nearly doubled the lead with Tigani, stopped by another brilliant save from Strajnar.

The 1-1 goal arrived at 35' and was a masterpiece by Fogliaro. The attacker cut inside onto his left foot and scored a powerful and precise shot. The group celebration captured the second half of the biancorossi, who tried in every way to equalize the score.

The game heated up, with continuous changes of front from both sides. At 42', the home team regained the lead with Conde, who converted a penalty awarded by the referee. At the final whistle, it ended 2-1.

In the next round, scheduled for Tuesday, 16th December at 2:00 PM, AC Monza will face AS Roma at home.
