AC Monza’s first ever headquarter was a bar named “Pasticceria Roma”, situated in the city centre. In 1992 Monzello became the Club’s new hub, equipped with training grounds, changing rooms, gyms and offices. Moreover, in 2019 Luigi Berlusconi Sports Center - Monzello has been fully refurbished – from the offices to the opening of a restaurant – and 3 brand new 4G pitches have been implemented.
For many years, however, the center had not undergone any maintenance and improvements.
During 2019, both the urgent extraordinary safety maintenance interventions and the innovative ones still in progress were started.
The dispute with the previous manager ended, on July 1st the bar was finally inaugurated, managed and also used as a subscription sales point.
No less important are the works in the management of the greenery, both for the decoration of the center and for operational needs which will result in an important planting of trees on public areas.
Finally, an indoor restaurant for football players and employees has been created and both the external parking and the access to the center have been completely redesigned.
During the summer break, the innovations of the sports facilities were completed in order to allow optimal training conditions for all the red and white teams:
Luigi Berlusconi Sports Center - Monzello , which has become exclusively available to the team and technical staff, has been further improved through the renovation of the first team changing rooms and the reinforced natural grass pitch 1.
