UNDER 20: MONZA FINISHES THE PRESEASON

The last summer friendly match of the Under 20 biancorossa ends with a 1-2 score: at the Centro Sportivo Silvio and Luigi Berlusconi-Monzello, Pro Sesto, a team competing in Serie D, wins.

The players, led by coach Oscar Brevi, are continuously improving their fitness, developing and showing good signs ahead of the start of the Primavera 1 Championship.

The visitors' strategy was clear from the beginning: to rely heavily on experience and the age difference between the two teams.

Monza attacked and defended in an organized manner, demonstrating great qualities in play, organization and running.

During the first half, both teams repeatedly tried to threaten offensively, but their defenses held up well against all attacks.

The match was only opened up at 10' of the second half, when Pro Sesto took the lead thanks to Banfi's goal.

Shortly after, at 14', the visitors doubled their advantage with Stefanoni.

The home team increased their pace and pressing to take control of the game and at 31' they reopened the score with a beautiful goal by Fogliaro.

In the final moments, Pro Sesto managed to repel all of Monza's attempts, which kept trying until the very last second of the game.

This concludes Monza's pre-season for the team led by Brevi.

In the next match, scheduled for Saturday, August 16th at 6:00 PM, AC Monza will make its official debut in the league in front of their fans, against FC Internazionale Milano.
