UNDER 20: MONZA-FROSINONE 1-2

The match between AC Monza and Frosinone Calcio, valid for the 34th round of the league, ended 1-2.

The opening minutes were immediately very intense and the first chance came at 6': Diene tried a powerful shot from distance, but his attempt went over the bar.

Frosinone threatened at 8' with Cichero, who missed the target from inside the six-yard box after an individual effort.

Monza played with great confidence and took the lead at 10' through Fogliaro. Mout exchanged passes with Diene in midfield and created the right space to cross. His delivery to the far post was perfect for the Biancorosso striker, who rose above everyone else and headed the ball past Rodolfo.

The visitors responded at 17' with Grosso, who drove into the penalty area but then shot wide.

At 27', Schietroma’s free kick from the edge of the box whistled just over Strajnar’s crossbar. Two minutes later, Frosinone equalized through Cichero.

The home side didn’t back down and kept increasing the pace, putting the Ciociari’s goal under pressure until halftime.

At 42', Fogliaro came close again. Mout unleashed a powerful left-footed shot from distance, forcing Rodolfo into a diving save. The number 90 was quickest to react to the rebound with a header, but this time he was unlucky.

At the Centro Sportivo Silvio and Luigi Berlusconi-Monzello, the first half ended 1-1.

In the second half, the intensity remained high despite the heat.

Frosinone took the lead at 22'. Schietroma struck powerfully from distance; Strajnar made a good save on the shot heading toward the corner, but he could do nothing about Colley’s close-range tap-in.

The home side reacted at 36' when, following a corner, Fardin’s curling shot went just wide.

Shortly after, at 40', substitute Abou Elezz switched play to Attinasi, who entered the penalty area and fired a right-footed shot across goal, but Rodolfo made a great save to keep his team ahead.

Monza continued to press high and attack relentlessly, while the visitors stayed compact in their own half, looking to break only on the counterattack.

In the closing minutes, Martone, Abou Elezz and especially Buonaiuto all tried their luck, but Frosinone’s defense held firm until the final whistle.

In the next round, scheduled for Monday, April 27th at 5:00 PM, AC Monza will be away against ACF Fiorentina.
