An unlucky afternoon for Monza, as the Biancorossi fall 1-4 to Roma at the U-Power Stadium.
The Biancorossi start strong and create their first chance in the 16th minute when Djuric hits the post with a header.
Roma reacts immediately and finds the goal two minutes later with Cristante, but his goal is disallowed due to an offside by Dybala.
In the 38th minute then Pellegrini gives the lead to the guests with a precise strike from inside the box.
Four minutes later Roma doubles with Lukaku who, served in the box by Dybala, beats Di Gregorio.
Monza starts the second half well and creates another chance in the 50th minute with Djuric, but his strike goes wide.
Despite the hosts efforts to try and reopen the match, Roma finds two more goals between the 63rd and the 83rd minute with Dybala and Paredes.
In the 87th minute then Carboni makes the loss a bit less bitter with a wonderful strike from outside the box.
It ends 1-4 at the U-Power Stadium, Monza will be back on the pitch on Saturday 9th March at 8:45pm at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris against Genoa.
