Despite a positive start of the game by Monza, Napoli comes back in the second half and wins 4-2 at the U-Power Stadium.
The Biancorossi start in the best way possible and find the lead after only 9 minutes with a header by Djuric, who scores his first goal in the white and red jersey.
The guests react and start pushing in order to find the equaliser but Monza defends well and goes to the break with the result of 1-0.
In the first minutes of the second half, however, Napoli finds the 1-1 thanks to Osimhen, who heads the ball into the net on cross by Anguissa. The guests seem to be in a magical moment and find two more goals in the next 5 minutes, first Politano and then with Zielinski.
The Biancorossi however never surrender and, just one minute after Zielinski’s goal, close the gap thanks to a beauty by Colpani.
Monza believes in the equaliser, however Raspadori switches all hopes in the 68th minute by scoring again for Napoli.
It ends 2-4 at the U-Power Stadium, the Biancorossi will be back on the pitch on Saturday 13th April at 8:45pm at the Stadio Dall’Ara against Bologna.
