A fantastic comeback for Monza, as the Biancorossi beat Fiorentina 3-2 at the U-Power Stadium after being 0-2 down.
A shocking start for the hosts, as Fiorentina goes up 0-2 after only 13 minutes thanks to the goals by Kouame' first and Saponara after.
The Biancorossi however react and finds the 1-2 in the 26th minute when Biraghi puts the ball in his own net. Two minutes before half time then Monza equalises thanks to Mota, who beats Terraciano with a lob after being served directly from Di Gregorio.
The second half starts just like it ended, with Monza attacking in order to find the third goal. In the 59th minute then the episode that decides the match; Milenkovic fouls Mota in the box and Sacchi concedes a penalty. Captain Pessina goes on the spot and does not miss, making it 3-2 for the Biancorossi.
The guests try to react, but Monza keeps control of the game until the final whistle.
It ends 3-2 at the U-Power Stadium, the Biancorossi will be back on the pitch on Friday 28th April at 8:45pm against Spezia.
