A great afternoon for Monza, as the Biancorossi win 2-1 against Empoli thanks to the goals by Ciurria and Izzo.
The guests find the lead in the 11th minute with Satriano, but his goal is disallowed due to an offside.
Eight minutes later then Monza finds the goal with Ciurria, who scores from inside the box after being served by Petagna.
The Biancorossi keep on attacking but do not manage to find the double before half time.
In the second half the guests start better and find the equaliser in the 51st minute with Satriano. Both teams start pushing hard in order to find the winner, which arrives for Monza in the 67th minute thanks to a header by Izzo.
A very important win for the Biancorossi, who will be back on the pitch on Sunday 12th March at 3pm at the Stadio Bentegodi against Hellas Verona.
