The first half ends 1-0 for the hosts thanks to Marusic's goal, who heads the ball in on assist by Castellanos.
In the second half Lazio finds four more goals with Pedro - who scores a brace - Castellanos and Dele-Bashiru.
The consolation goal for Monza arrives in the 86th minute thanks to Sensi's penalty kick.
The Biancorossi will be back on the pitch on Sunday 16th February at 3pm at the U-Power Stadium against Lecce.
