GENERAZIONE MONZA: A DEDICATED SECTOR FOR YOUNG FANS AT THE STADIUM

The Municipality of Monza and AC Monza today presented Generazione Monza at City Hall, a new project designed to bring young people closer to football and to the positive values of sport through the creation of a healthy, educational and inclusive gathering space inside the U-Power Stadium.

At the heart of the initiative is the creation of a dedicated Generazione Monza sector at the U-Power Stadium, reserved for the young participants involved in the project.

The sector, consisting of more than 300 seats located in the East Stand (first tier), is designed as a place where fair support, fair play and moments of sharing are encouraged, allowing young fans to experience matchdays in a positive and respectful environment.

Generazione Monza begins with the involvement of young people aged 10 to 15 who already hold an AC Monza Card, as well as students from the city’s lower secondary schools, who joined the initiative thanks to the collaboration with the Municipal Administration.

At a later stage, the project will be progressively extended to schools in neighbouring municipalities, youth academies across the territory and, more broadly, to all boys and girls aged between 10 and 15.

The first schools in Monza to join the project include Sabin, Ardigò, Bellani, International School, Preziosissimo Sangue and Villoresi, representing state, private and paritarie institutions

AC Monza will provide all young participants in the project with a free AC Monza Card, which is required to purchase a ticket for the Generazione Monza sector.

GEN Monza members will therefore be able to attend home matches at the symbolic price of €1 per game, purchasing their tickets, as well as any reduced-price tickets for accompanying adults, through the Club’s official ticketing platform.

With Generazione Monza, the Municipality of Monza and AC Monza further strengthen a long-standing partnership, reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting sport as an educational tool and a driver of growth and community for younger generations.

AC Monza once again confirms itself as a highly sensitive partner in promoting the educational values of sport from the very first steps, including within the school environment. Once again, school and sport prove to be among the best training grounds for learning the joy of growing together, guided by loyalty and respect”, explained the Mayor of Monza.

Mauro Baldissoni, CEO of AC Monza, commented: “We thank the Municipality of Monza for supporting a project that is particularly important to the Club, also as the culmination of the work AC Monza has carried out for years with the city’s schools on the themes of fan culture and sporting participation. With Generazione Monza we aim to strengthen the sense of identity between the youngest people of Monza and the city’s team. We want to create a space where young fans can make friends, support the team together and experience matchdays with enthusiasm, respect and fair play. Just as school is a place for educational development, our goal is to make the stadium a place where the values of sport are learned”.
