FOOTBALL AND TECHNOLOGY: THE VIRTUAL REALITY PROJECT WAS A SUCCESS!

In recent days, the U-Power Stadium hosted the coaching staff and athletes of the AC Monza Youth Academy, together with their families, to share the results of the project “Training in virtual reality to improve decision-making ability”.

The initiative, promoted by the Club in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, is part of the activities carried out during the season with the aim of supporting the growth and development of its athletes.

It is an innovative approach based on training within virtual reality, focusing on the development of perceptual-cognitive skills: decision-making accuracy, processing speed, flexibility and inhibitory control, through immersive environments capable of reproducing realistic match situations.

This training methodology has allowed the players to work on key aspects such as information analysis, anticipation of game situations, and the choice of the most effective solution in a short time.

During the meeting, the research results were presented, confirming the potential of virtual reality as a complementary tool to traditional training.

The Club works daily to build a better future together with its athletes, preparing them to face the challenges they will encounter along their path, both on and off the pitch.

The work carried out by AC Monza in synergy with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore confirms its commitment to research and the local community, believing in the importance of technology and the value of continuous innovation.
