AC Monza Team eSports is finally ready to start its fourth season. A season where the Biancorossi will try to defend and possibly improve the position n.32 in the Global Ranking, being also the fifth football club in the world behind Schalke 04, Koln, Basel and New York City FC.
For the fourth consecutive year Raffaele “Er Caccia” Cacciapuoti will be part of the roster. Last season the Italian player reached both the FIFAe World Cup and the FIFAe Nations Cup with Italy. His teammate this year will be AC Monza’s new signing Lucio “HhezerS” Vecchione, one of the best players in the industry who has already reached important milestones such as a win in the 2021 FGS Qualifier 2, a Top 6 at the eChampions League 2021 and a Top 24 at the 2021 FGS Playoffs.
The two players will form a dream couple for the FIFAe Club World Cup, where the Biancorossi will start directly from the Qualifiers thanks to the great results achieved in the past editions (including a Top 4 in 2021).
As for the 1v1 season, the main news is Monza’s first historic participation at the eSerieA TIM. The tournament will last the whole season, with the Final Eight taking place 18th-19th April. For the Biancorossi the chosen player will be Raffaele “Er Caccia” Cacciapuoti, with Lucio “HHezerS” Vecchione ready to come on if needed.
A Mid-Season Major has been introduced as well; this will be an open tournament which will take place in London on the weekend of 7th April. With a prize pool of $500,000, the winner will also gain direct access at the FIFAe World Cup.
The five European Qualifiers have been confirmed as well and will take place on 7th-8th January, 18th-19th February, 18th-19th March, 29th-30th April and 27th-28th May.
An eSports season which will definitely be emotional, with Monza ready to be once again protagonist.
