AC Monza's 2021-22 season has officially started.
While in the morning all players met for the first medical tests, at 1pm at the U-Power Stadium Monza's new head coach Giovanni Stroppa was presented to the media.
"I'm happy to be back home, there is everything set to do well and the Club is organised perfectly. I'll try to transmit my philosophy and play-style to the players and cannot wait to do so" said Stroppa, who returned to Monza 32 years after his experience as a player and has reunited with Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani after his time at AC Milan.
"We chose Stroppa because he reflects Silvio Berlusconi's ambition, we are bound to him by a long love story. Monza is in his destiny, we just missed the Serie A, but we will try again. Let's just reach the objective, without slogans" said the AC Monza's CEO Adriano Galliani.
