Matteo Scozzarella is officially an AC Monza player!
The Italian midfielder arrives from Parma and has signed a contract until June 2022 with option of renewal based on determined conditions.
Born in Trieste on June 5th 1988, the Scozzarella grew up in Atalanta's youth academy. In 2007 he joined Portogruaro, with whom he achieved a historic promotion to Serie B, debuting in the Italian League in 2010-11. After a loan move to Juve Stabia, he returned to Atalanta with which he debuted in Serie A.
In January 2017 he joined Parma after his experiences with Ternana, Juve Stabia (again), Spezia and Trapani. With the Emiliani he was among the protagonists of the double promotion from Serie C to Serie A, and has collected 90 appearances in four years.
Overall Scozzarella 44 caps in Serie A, and 193 appearances in Serie B with 12 goals.
