SATURDAY AT THE STADIUM, I'M BACK TO CHEERING POSITIVELY

On Saturday, on the occasion of Monza - Cagliari, the U-Power Stadium will welcome over 600 fifth-grade students who have participated in the "I Cheer Positively" project, along with their families.

"Io Tifo Positivo" is the project of the Community New Onlus Association, born under the auspices of Candido Cannavò, which, since 2007, aims to promote the true values of sport by countering all the exaggerations that often pervade places dedicated to sports practice: from physical and verbal violence to all kinds of discrimination, up to the exaggeration of the concept of healthy competition.

The "I Cheer Positively" project, in collaboration with AC Monza and the Municipality of Monza, has now reached its fifth consecutive year and confirms the close collaboration between the Club, the world of schools, and local authorities in order to continue offering concrete support to enhance the visibility of football in an educational key. At the heart of the project are positive models and values of civic sense and education, which are pillars of the new course launched more than a year ago by the Society.

The schools involved in this school year are:

Dante Primary School (Don Milani Comprehensive Institute) - Monza - classes 5A and 5B

Don Milani Primary School (Don Milani Comprehensive Institute) - Monza - classes 5A, 5B

As is now tradition, during halftime of the match, the students will parade onto the field displaying banners on Fair Play prepared in class, and tributes to the unforgettable Gigi Riva will not be lacking.

The stadium is the penultimate stop of a journey that has lasted all year, during which educators from the Community New Onlus have met teachers, students, and parents in class and beyond. Throughout the season, students have had the opportunity to meet and interview Monza's white-red players Luca Caldirola and Samuele Vignato, delving into the themes of respect and inclusion discussed in the classroom with professional athletes. At the meeting with Vignato, held in the splendid setting of the Rinascente Lounge inside the U-Power Stadium, the Deputy Mayor of Monza Egidio Longoni, the President of CONI Lombardia Marco Riva, and a representation of the Sharks Monza, the city's wheelchair hockey team led by the great Mattia Muratore, also participated.

The last stop of the journey will see the students involved in a morning of games at the Luigi Berlusconi Sports Center - Monzello.
