8 MARCH, CANCRO PRIMO AIUTO WITH MONZA FOR THE PROGETTO PARRUCCHE

On the occasion of 8 March, International Women's Day, AC Monza wants to give voice to a really important solidarity project. Captain Pessina and his companions in a video wanted to present the Progetto Parrucche of the Cancro Primo Aiuto association, a reality of Monza born in 1995 in memory of Senator Walter Fontana that has become a real excellence in the area in social and psychological assistance to cancer patients and their families.

For 15 years, the Progetto Parrucche has aimed to give a wig to women undergoing chemo or radiotherapy, to give them back some serenity and help them reduce the trauma of hair loss. The project represents a concrete and valuable help for women, which goes far beyond the aesthetic aspect, but instead includes all-round support during the healing process.

With the help of hospitals, other territorial associations, volunteers, hairdressers, psychologists, and everyone's commitment, it will be possible to continue to make a difference in the community.

In addition to the video, at the Monza - Cagliari match on 16 March, all spectators will be able to receive information material to learn more about the project.
