WELCOME LUCIANO VULCANO

AC Monza is pleased to announce that Luciano Vulcano has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the biancorossi Under 20 team.

Born in Cariati, in the province of Cosenza, on 11th May 1988, Vulcano has worked throughout his professional career for several prestigious Clubs, including Hellas Verona FC, FC Internazionale Milano, ACF Fiorentina, AC Milan, Al-Nassr FC and Sunderland AFC.

His first major experience in Serie A came during the 2014-2015 season, when he joined Hellas Verona as a match analyst. The following season, he took on the same role at Inter.

During his time with the nerazzurri, he met Stefano Pioli, whom he would continue to work alongside in the following years: first as a match analyst at Fiorentina from 2017 to 2019, and then as a technical assistant at AC Milan from 2019 to 2024, helping the Club win the 2021-2022 Serie A title.

His résumé was further enriched by two significant experiences abroad. During the 2024-2025 season, he became assistant coach at Al-Nassr, once again working alongside Pioli. In the 2025-2026 season, he held the same position at Sunderland, assisting Régis Le Bris with the Club's technical direction.

Vulcano now joins the biancorossi in an environment built on clear and consistent principles that promote complete synergy between the Youth Academy and the First Team, with a shared commitment to the Club's methodology and its core values.

This united vision continues with the goal of supporting and guiding the development of the Club's young talents.
