Paulo Azzi is a new player for Monza.
The Italian-Brazilian, coming from Cremonese, has signed a contract with the biancorosso club until June 30th, 2027, with an automatic renewal for an additional season if certain conditions are met.
Born in Bragança Paulista on July 15th, 1994, he began his first Italian experience in Serie B with Cittadella in January 2014.
Tombense briefly brought him back to Brazil, but from 2015 he returned to Italy to wear the Spezia jersey, with which he made 13 appearances and scored 1 goal in Serie B.
After a long journey in Serie C with teams like Pavia, Pordenone, Siracusa, Bisceglie, Pro Vercelli, Seregno and Lecco, he transferred to Modena in the summer of 2021.
With the Emilians, he experienced a great season, participating in 35 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists to help achieve promotion to Serie B.
In January 2023, he was bought by Cagliari and immediately contributed to their promotion to Serie A.
In his first season in the top flight, he made 25 appearances with the Sardinians, helping them secure safety.
He celebrated his third promotion with Cremonese, arriving in January 2025, and was immediately a key player in the team's return to Serie A.
A left winger with drive and creativity, Azzi is ready to race down Monza’s left flank.
