Dear AC Monza Community,
We have experienced a fantastic year. We achieved our goal of returning to Serie A with a historic season. It is truly difficult to say goodbye to you. Leaving my role as Sporting Director of the Club is one of the hardest decisions of my career. I am leaving for both professional and personal reasons: to return to live in Argentina, my home country.
At Monza, I found an extraordinary group of people to work with. I would like to thank Beckett Layne Ventures, President of AC Monza Lauren Crampsie and Mauro Baldissoni for the opportunity and trust they placed in me from the very beginning of my time at the Club.
My colleague Francesco Vallone for his guidance and passion.
Paolo Bianco and the entire staff of professionals for working with a single goal in mind: to improve every day and give everything for this Club.
The players for achieving our objective and turning our dream into reality. Their dedication and commitment made all of this possible.
All the staff at Monzello and U-Power Stadium, who immediately embraced our vision and project, helping to convey its values.
And finally, the supporters, unique and passionate, loyal and tireless. The driving force behind the team. Always by our side. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I leave with the sadness of saying goodbye, but also with the joy of having lived through a wonderful year, one that ended exactly as we had all hoped. Now a very important new chapter begins for this Club, and I wish you every success in the future.
I bid you farewell with great respect and admiration.
Nicolás Burdisso
