Lorenzo Lucchesi is a new Monza player.
The defender joins from Fiorentina on a temporary deal until June 30th, 2026, with an obligation to buy upon the occurrence of certain conditions.
Born in Florence on May 9th, 2003, Lucchesi came up through the youth sector of Empoli and Juventus before moving to Fiorentina in October 2020.
With the Viola, he stood out first in the Under-18 squad and then with the Primavera team, with whom he won two Super Cups and one Coppa Italia.
In the summer of 2023, he joined Ternana on loan, making his professional debut and enjoying an excellent first Serie B season with 27 appearances and 2 goals.
He confirmed his qualities during another loan spell with Reggiana, helping the club avoid relegation in the 2024–25 Serie B season, again collecting 27 caps and 2 goals.
A physically imposing defender, capable of playing both as a centre-back and out wide thanks to his ability to build from the back, Lucchesi is now ready for his new adventure with Monza.
