Giorgos Kyriakopoulos is a new player of Monza.
The Greek left back arrives from Sassuolo, on a temporary basis until June 30, 2024, with an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
Born in Patras on February 5, 1996, he grew up in Asteras Tripolis, with which he made his professional debut and collected a total of 74 appearances and 6 goals.
In the summer of 2019 he moved to Sassuolo, where he made his Serie A debut on November 3, 2019, against Lecce.
After three and a half seasons in neroverde, with 94 appearances and 2 goals, he was transferred on loan to Bologna in January 2023, where he played 12 matches, reaching 102 total appearances in Serie A.
Kyriakopoulos is AC Monza's fifth summer acquisition: a left-back capable of playing both full-back and midfielder, he boasts 7 appearances with the Greek national team.
