Ebenezer Ajodun Akinsanmiro is a new Monza player.
The midfielder joins from FC Internazionale Milano on a temporary deal with an obligation to buy, subject to certain conditions being met.
Born in Lagos on 25th November 2004, Akinsanmiro began his football journey in the Youth Academy of Remo Stars FC, one of Nigeria's most prestigious and respected Clubs.
He made his senior debut for Remo Stars at a very young age in the Nigerian top flight. In 2022, he travelled to Italy to take part in the Viareggio Tournament with the Alex Transfiguration Academy selection, scoring 3 goals and emerging as one of the team's standout talents.
In January 2023, he joined Inter, where he was initially assigned to the Under 20 squad. He made 12 appearances and provided 3 assists during his first spell with the youth team. In the 2023/24 season, he featured in 28 matches across the Primavera Championship and Coppa Italia Primavera, scoring 6 goals and adding 2 assists.
His impressive performances caught the attention of Inter's First Team head coach. On 25th February 2024, Ebenezer made his Serie A debut in Inter's Matchday 26 fixture against Lecce, before celebrating the league title with the nerazzurri at the end of the season.
The following year, he joined Sampdoria on loan, making 38 appearances across Serie B and the Coppa Italia. He showcased his quality with the blucerchiati, contributing 1 goal and 1 assist.
During the 2025/26 season, he moved on loan to Pisa, returning to Serie A and making 25 appearances across the league and Coppa Italia.
The young midfielder has also earned his first senior cap for the Nigeria National Team, featuring in the friendly match against Egypt on 16th December 2025.
A technically gifted and physically strong midfielder, Akinsanmiro is now ready to embark on an exciting new chapter in the biancorosso of Monza.
