CYRIL NGONGE JOINS AC MONZA

Cyril Ngonge is a new AC Monza player.

The Belgian forward joins from Napoli on a temporary basis until June 30th, 2027, with an option for Monza to make the move permanent.

Born in Uccle on May 26th, 2000, he came through the Club Brugge academy, making his First Team debut in December 2018 against Standard Liège and, nine days later, his Champions League debut against Atlético Madrid.

In the summer of 2020, he joined PSV Eindhoven on loan, making 22 appearances and scoring 7 goals for the Under 21 side.

His development in Dutch football continued at RKC Waalwijk, where he became a regular in the Eredivisie, scoring 5 goals in 20 appearances.

His performances improved further at Groningen, where he made 46 appearances and scored 11 goals, attracting the attention of several European clubs.

In January 2023, Hellas Verona signed him, bringing him to Serie A. He immediately made an impact and helped the Scaligeri secure survival, scoring twice in the relegation playoff against Spezia.

After scoring 11 goals in 36 appearances for the gialloblu, he joined Napoli in January 2024.

With the Partenopei, he made 35 appearances and was crowned Italian champion on May 23rd, 2025.

After spending the first part of the season on loan at Torino, he moved to Espanyol in the second half of the 2025-26 season, making his first appearance in La Liga.

A fast and versatile right-sided attacking player, Ngonge has also made one appearance for the Belgian senior National Team, featuring in the Nations League match against Italy on October 10th, 2024.

With Monza, he is ready to make his mark in Serie A once again.
