Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro is officially an AC Monza player.
The Ivorian midfielder arrives from Lazio on loan with option to buy and has signed a contract until 30th June 2024.
Born in Toulouse on 11th October 1992, he grew up in his hometown's youth academy and made his Ligue 1 debut at the age of 18.
In February 2018 he joins Salernitana, where he collects a total of 58 appearances and 2 goals in Serie B.
In the summer of 2020 he then signs for Lazio, where he scores in his Champions League debut on 20th October against Borussia Dortmund.
In two seasons with the Biancocelesti he collects 42 appereances in Serie A and 8 in Champions League.
In the summer of 2022 he joins Empoli on loan, where he plays 24 games and scores one goal.
He also boasts 17 caps with the Ivory Coast National Team, with which he played the 2014 World Cup and won the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
