On Wednesday, September 23nd, 2026, the splendid conference room at the Brianteo Stadium hosted representatives of the Monza Brianza Provincial Delegation for a meeting between the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and the FIGC Youth and School Sector.
AC Monza Head of Youth Academy Mauro Fattori welcomed the attendees on behalf of the Club, highlighting the focus of the evening: the rules and the role of adults in the development of young footballers. “We all have a great responsibility to respect the organizational rules through which we can develop and promote our sporting programs. Children want to play and have fun: our duty and main objective must be to work and do our very best to preserve their smiles. I believe this is the best wish we can make for ourselves this evening".
The meeting was attended by Michael Cuomo, Councillor of the FIGC LND Regional Committee of Lombardy; Alessandro Bertinazzi, LND Provincial Delegate for Monza Brianza; Mauro Spoldi, FIGC SGS Regional Coordinator for Lombardy; Mauro Amato, FIGC SGS Lombardy Technical Coordinator for the Monza Brianza area.
It was an opportunity for the local football community to share ideas and engage in discussion. Club presidents, coaches and officials followed the topics addressed with great attention, contributing with questions and thoughtful reflections.
The meeting also featured several important and positive messages, including one shared by Mauro Spoldi: “Every child should be treated as if they were our own son or daughter, with their enjoyment, development and well-being always in mind.
Today, their joy may come from scoring a goal, making a save or sharing a hug with their teammates. Tomorrow, in life, there will be many other milestones to celebrate.
For this reason, the child must always be at the center of our attention. We must accompany them throughout their development and help them grow through the values that sport is capable of teaching".
