CLASSIC MONZA: 21-22 KITS UNVEILED


Monza, 30th July 2021 - The partnership between AC Monza and Lotto Sport Italia continues for the third season as they unveil the 2021/2022 official kits.

Sensitive to the contemporary theme of sustainability and environmental protection, Lotto has thoroughly searched through materials and fabrics that have "green" characteristics, among which biodegradability is one of the main ones. For the realisation of the new jerseys, the Italian company has used a special fabric in Polyester Biodegradable, an innovative fibre, pleasant to the touch but which preserves the technical properties and guarantees maximum comfort.

A kit that combines innovation and the red and white tradition thanks to the return of the vertical band on the shorts. A unique feature of AC Monza's history, which became famous in the 79/80 season, when AC Monza finished fifth in Serie B with 42 points and only 3 points away from promotion. That season will go down in history as the last of the great President Cappelletti and will mark the end of the golden period that made Brianza dream at the end of the 70s.

Mister Stroppa's lads will wear the new kit for the first time on 31st July against Juventus in the XXV Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi. An historical event that comes back as the band on the shorts was present in the last previous match in Monza against the Bianconeri, in occasion of the friendly match on 6th September 2000.

All the partners of the previous season will be present on this year's kit as well. On the front of the jersey the Official Sponsor WithU will stand out on the chest of the players while the Naming Sponsor U-Power will be placed in a new central position under the neck. Febal Casa has been confirmed as Sleeve Sponsor, as well as the historical partners Pontenossa and Dell'Orto as Back Jersey Sponsor and Shorts Sponsor respectively.

To complete the picture of customizations, the cogwheel of the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, under the collar for the third consecutive year as a City Partner and the great news represented by the font chosen for the numbers and surnames of the players, printed with a special Flexnet honeycomb effect that further enhances the uniform.
