"ATTENTI A QUEI DUE": GREAT SUCCESS IN SPORTS AND CHARITY

The Vero Volley Consortium and AC Monza came together for an exciting evening filled with curiosities, anecdotes, and memories, with a keen eye on the future of sports and beyond. This and much more was “Attenti a quei due” a charity event that featured two prominent sports figures, Adriano Galliani and Alessandra Marzari, at its center stage.

At the exclusive Rinascente Lounge at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, the CEO of AC Monza and the President of the Vero Volley Consortium, skillfully engaged by journalist and writer Leo Turrini, brought to life a dialogue brimming with stories and "tales of a life in sports".

Alessandra Marzari, President of the Vero Volley Consortium, opened the event: "I am very happy to be here for this evening that has a very important purpose. This event was born from a meeting with an acquaintance of mine who now collaborates with the Centro Mamma Rita, a project I care about deeply. The Center, in addition to taking care of the children, gives mothers the opportunity to be mothers again after having gone through difficult experiences. I thank the sisters for all the work they do. This synergy between Vero Volley and AC Monza is very important for the entire territory".

Adriano Galliani, Deputy Vice President and CEO of AC Monza, commented: “It is wonderful to see AC Monza and Vero Volley joining forces to support a historic and well-established community like Centro Mamma Rita. We hope to have provided concrete help to enable the Center to continue its commendable activities. For the city of Monza, hosting two sports entities of this caliber represents a great opportunity also from a social perspective, engaging thousands of people through their passion for sports”.

The goal of the event, however, was not only to revisit the great emotions experienced over the years at the top of volleyball and soccer but also, and above all, to support the activities of “Centro Mamma Rita”, a historic reception community in Monza for young people with severe socio-family difficulties, which began its activities back in 1964.

Among the over 150 participants at the solidarity aperitif and the proceeds from the charity auction, which included sports memorabilia and experiences related to both Monza sports entities, the goal was fully achieved. Over 20.000 euros were raised during the evening and allocated for the activities of Centro Mamma Rita.
