This morning, in the Council Chamber of Palazzo Pirelli in Milan, an awards ceremony was held to honor Lombardy’s professional football Clubs that achieved success in various competitions during the 2025/2026 season.
The ceremony began with speeches by Federico Romani, President of the Regional Council and Attilio Fontana, President of the Regional Government of Lombardy.
The individual award presentations then followed for the five Clubs - AC Monza, Inter Milan, Como 1907, Folgore Caratese and Desenzano Calvina - each of which was awarded the Gio Ponti Silver Medal, the highest honor bestowed by the Regional Council of Lombardy.
Representing Monza was CEO Mauro Baldissoni, who received the special recognition awarded to the Brianza Club for its promotion to Serie A. He also presented a biancorosso Monza jersey belonging to captain Matteo Pessina to Presidents Romani and Fontana.
