A point each at the Stadio Bentegodi as Monza and Hellas Verona draw 1-1.
A very balanced first half, with both teams struggling to create dangerous chances. The biggest occasion for Monza comes right at the end, but Petagna's header goes high.
The hosts then start the second half in the best way possible and find the lead in the 51st minute with Verdi. Monza, however, reacts immediately and finds the equaliser just 4 minutes later with Sensi, who beats Montipò with a precise left-foot strike.
The Biancorossi keep on attacking and in the 60th minute find the lead with Caprari. The referee however, with the help of VAR, disallows the goal due to an offside.
Before the final whistle Monza creates various chances, thus without managing to find the winner.
It ends 1-1 at the Stadio Bentegodi, the Biancorossi will be back on the pitch on Saturday 18th March at 3pm at the U-Power Stadium against Cremonese.
